Like most online stores, BoldRadiant relies on a small number of cookies and on your browser's local storage to keep you logged in, remember your language and region, hold your shopping cart, and — only where you have consented — to measure site performance and support marketing. We aim to keep this footprint minimal and transparent.
This Policy is closely tied to our Privacy Policy. The Cookie Policy focuses on the technologies stored on or read from your device; the Privacy Policy explains the broader collection, use, sharing and retention of your personal data, and the rights available to you. Any capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store. They are sent back to the originating site on each subsequent request, which lets the site recognize your browser between page loads and visits. A session cookie is deleted when you close your browser; a persistent cookie remains until it expires or you delete it. A first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting (here, BoldRadiant); a third-party cookie is set by another domain.
Local storage (the browser's localStorage API) also stores small pieces of data on your device, but unlike cookies this data is not automatically sent to any server with each request. It is read only by code running in your browser on our pages, and it persists until it is explicitly cleared. We use local storage for things like your shopping cart and your saved preferences.
Session storage (the browser's sessionStorage API) works like local storage but is scoped to a single browser tab and is cleared when that tab is closed. We use it only as a minor technical safeguard (see Section 5).

We do not set third-party advertising cookies of our own. Any cookies associated with analytics or marketing technologies are governed by Sections 3, 6 and 7 and load only where you have consented.

Session storage: We use sessionStorage only as a technical guard against a rare chunk-reload loop when page assets update. It holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the tab.
Please note: your cookie consent preferences are stored in the localStorage key cookie_permissions_list, not in a cookie. Clearing your browser storage will reset these preferences and the consent banner may appear again.
Where enabled, we may use the following third-party technologies. They are loaded conditionally, based on your consent, and are configured on the back end — so they may not be active on every store or at all times.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4, gtag): A web-analytics service that helps us understand aggregate site usage and performance. Where enabled, GA4 loads only after you grant Analytical consent. A dataLayer object may be present in the page, but analytics reporting is driven by GA4 where it is enabled.
Meta / Facebook Pixel: A measurement and advertising technology from Meta. Where enabled, the Pixel loads only after you grant Marketing consent.
What we do NOT use: We do not use reCAPTCHA, Hotjar, Segment, TikTok Pixel, external/third-party font CDNs, or Google Tag Manager as an advertised product on our storefront. We will update this Policy if that changes. (Payment processing via Stripe.js and the PayPal SDK, Google Sign-In, Google address/place services, and our self-hosted live chat are described in our Privacy Policy; card details are transmitted directly from your browser to the payment provider and do not pass through our own servers.)
How consent works depends on your location:
Our consent banner is shown to visitors in the regions where it applies (United States, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland). Essential technologies are always active because the site cannot function without them.
You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the “Cookie Settings” entry (available in the site footer). Note that if you opt out of a category, any scripts that were already loaded during the current visit are not forcibly unloaded; they simply will not be loaded again on your next visit. To remove data already stored, you can also clear cookies and site storage through your browser.
