Petal Cluster Earrings

Marquise stones have two pointed ends, which makes them the natural shape for a petal — set them radiating from a centre and the outline reads as a flower without any figurative modelling.

On Petal the six marquise are set at a slight upward tilt away from the centre, so the cluster is domed rather than flat. The points are protected in V-claws, the one place a marquise reliably chips.
