An inlay is a genuine channel milled into the ring and filled with a second metal, then ground back flush and finished as one surface. It is not plating, and it will not wear through.
On Meridian the centre channel runs the full circumference, dividing the band into three clean planes: brushed outer rails either side of a polished centre stripe. The contrast does the work that a stone would do on a woman's band, without anything to snag.
