The signet was a working object — a seal pressed into wax — which is why the face is flat and the metal beneath it is thick. That weight is still what makes one feel right on the hand.
This version keeps the 12 × 10 mm oval face and adds a single flush-set brilliant off-centre, leaving room to engrave initials alongside it. The stone sits level with the face, so the ring still stacks and still seals.
