Twisted Rope Ring

Rope detailing is cut, not cast — a chasing tool runs a spiral groove along the strand so each twist has a defined edge that holds a shadow. Cast rope goes soft at the edges and reads as a lump.

Here one strand is left plain with the rope cut into it and the other is set with pavé, so the two read as different materials wound together rather than as one decorated band.
