A straight band against a solitaire leaves a wedge of daylight under the centre stone. Willow is cut with a shallow contour that follows the rise of a cathedral or halo setting so the two rings sit as one piece.
The curve is gentle enough — about 2.5 mm of drop across the top — that the band still reads straight when worn alone. Fourteen pavé diamonds follow the arc; the metal between them is milled down flush so nothing sits proud enough to rub against the engagement ring beside it.
